It has been 40 years since The Transformers: The Movie was released, and to celebrate the occasion, Hasbro is releasing new action figures inspired by the film. This Shockwave Transformers robot is also based on the character of the same name from that movie.
This Voyager Class Shockwave figure stands 6.5 inches tall and converts from robot to Cybertronian spacecraft in 26 steps. Of course, Shockwave is articulated, so you can display him in a variety of action poses. Shockwave also includes a blaster accessory that can be attached in both modes.

About Transformers Shockwave
In The Transformers: The Movie, Shockwave is the cold, logical Decepticon who mainly operates from Cybertron. While other Decepticons are often driven by ambition or ego, Shockwave is known for his calculated and ruthless approach. In the movie, he mainly serves in a strategic role as the guardian of the Decepticon position on Cybertron. When Unicron attacks Cybertron, Shockwave tries to organize the Decepticon forces to defend the planet, but even his strict leadership cannot stop that overwhelming threat. The movie makes it clear that Shockwave is not a reckless fighter, but rather an efficient commander and a loyal force within the Decepticon ranks.
