Hasbro presents this triple changer Astrotrain in the hugely popular Studio Series line. That means this Transformers figure has 3 modes. You can convert him from robot to train in 29 steps. Then, Astrotrain converts from train to space shuttle in 16 steps.
This figure is based on the Astrotrain character from the 1986 film The Transformers: The Movie. As a result, he features movie inspired details fans will instantly recognize. This Leader Class action figure stands about 6.7 inches tall and is articulated, so you can display him in all kinds of dynamic poses.

About Transformers Astrotrain
In Transformers The Movie, Astrotrain is a cunning and opportunistic Decepticon Multi Changer who transforms into a train and a space shuttle. In the film, he plays an important supporting role during and after the battle for Autobot City. He carries the defeated Decepticons back into space and is especially known for the moment when, due to a fuel shortage, he demands that the heavily wounded Decepticons be thrown overboard. In doing so, Astrotrain unintentionally sets a decisive chain of events in motion, because the discarded Megatron ends up with Unicron and is rebuilt into Galvatron.
