Takara Tomy presents MPG 17 Optimus Prime Style Gen., a new high end version of the legendary Autobot leader. This release is part of the MPG series and is also the first figure in the new Style Gen. line. The focus is on a fresh approach to transformation, proportions, details, articulation, and playability. Takara Tomy designed Optimus Prime with an intuitive conversion.
In truck mode, Optimus Prime has a realistic appearance thanks to the recognizable dual rear wheels. In robot mode, those elements remain visibly integrated into the design, allowing Takara Tomy to achieve a complete transformation without any unnecessary extra parts. Thanks to the thoughtful construction and wide range of articulation, you can also pose this figure in all kinds of dynamic stances.
The set comes with multiple accessories inspired by weapons and equipment that Optimus Prime has used over the past decades. Inside the box, you will find the Matrix, a Laser Rifle, Energy Axe, Energy Blades, a Strike Shield, various joints, a character card, and instructions.

About Optimus Prime
For decades, Optimus Prime has been the moral compass of the Autobots and is known as a leader who combines strength with wisdom, self sacrifice, and a strong sense of justice. In almost every incarnation, he is portrayed as a protector of freedom and life, someone who prefers peace over conflict, but rises without hesitation when his friends or innocent lives are in danger. That combination of noble leadership, inner calm, and impressive battle spirit makes Optimus Prime one of the most iconic characters in the Transformers franchise.
