Transformers collectors know the Robosen brand as the creator of the most advanced and realistic Transformers figures. Robosen has previously released lifelike models, including a fully functional Optimus Prime.
After years of development, Robosen now unveils another impressive release: the perfect reconstruction of the G1 Bumblebee robot from 1984. Officially authorized by Hasbro and Volkswagen, and supervised by Japan’s Takara Tomy, this innovative product transforms seamlessly from robot to Volkswagen Beetle, bringing the iconic and agile Bumblebee to life like never before.
This Bumblebee robot stays true to
the 1984 G1 character. Custom voice recordings by original voice
actor Dan Gilvezan enhance its authenticity and evoke a strong
sense of nostalgia.
In vehicle mode, the model accurately replicates the classic design
of the Volkswagen Beetle, featuring authentic automotive paint
texture, realistic tire detailing, and a high-gloss car-grade
finish for a lifelike appearance.
Robosen Bumblebee is equipped with 31 servo motors, 67 microchips, and a 6-axis motion sensor. This allows Bumblebee to fully transform automatically between a bipedal robot and a Beetle car model.
Robosen’s groundbreaking wheel hub servo system, combined with dedicated transformation servos and front-wheel steering, enables smooth and agile movements. Bumblebee is highly dynamic and responsive.
This Robosen action figure supports five programming modes: voice-controlled, easy, manual, block-based, and PC programming via Robosen Studio.
With over 230 original voice clips and 48 voice commands, Bumblebee offers an immersive experience. The companion app allows users to control Bumblebee via Bluetooth in both robot and vehicle mode, enabling transformations, movements, and special stunts. In vehicle form, driving speed can be adjusted to three different levels.
Bumblebee comes pre-programmed with multiple actions. With just one click, users can activate battle poses. The robot’s firmware is regularly updated, allowing Bumblebee to perform new actions over time. It can also communicate with previously released Robosen Megatron and Optimus Prime figures.
