MMC R-53 Tyrantron Rise presents Mastermind Creations' interpretation of Megatron during his ascent to leadership of the Decepticons. Based on the younger Megatron from the IDW Transformers comics, the figure uses the highly articulated engineering platform introduced with Optus Pexus. Heavy armour, a silver-grey colour scheme and a large fusion cannon show the former comrade becoming a feared warlord.
Tyrantron Rise stands approximately 8.3 inches tall in robot mode and converts into a futuristic tank. Working tank treads strengthen the vehicle presentation. Extensive articulation, poseable hands and crisp sculpting allow a wide range of combat poses.
The set includes two alternate face plates, a silver helmet, an arm cannon, a sword with long and short handles, and an energy flail. These parts let you recreate different stages and fighting styles of Megatron. A bio card and instructions are also included.

About Megatron in the IDW comics
In the IDW continuity, Megatron begins as a miner and writer who opposes Cybertron's oppressive system. Violence and war harden his original ideals until he becomes the ruthless leader of the Decepticons. Tyrantron Rise focuses on that decisive transition from revolutionary to warlord.
