About Transformers Galvatron
In Transformers The Movie (1986), Galvatron is the reborn version of Megatron, reforged by Unicron into a far more powerful and ruthless leader. He takes command of the Decepticons with brute authority, but he is also more unstable than ever, driven by rage, paranoia, and an almost obsessive need to prove his power. In the movie, he relentlessly pursues the Matrix of Leadership because he believes it can legitimize his rule, and that pursuit puts him on a direct collision course with the Autobots and, ultimately, Rodimus Prime. Galvatron is both an ultimate threat and a tragic figure, because his new strength comes with a loss of control. View all our Transformers Galvatron figures.
