About Evangelion Unit-01
Evangelion Unit-01 (also known as EVA-01) is one of the most iconic mecha from the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. Unlike traditional robots, Unit-01 is a biomechanical lifeform, encased in armor that acts more as a restraint than protection. The unit is piloted by Shinji Ikari, the main protagonist of the series, and is known for its unique purple and green color scheme and often unpredictable behavior. EVA-01 shares a mysterious bond with its pilot and occasionally displays a will of its own, even breaking free from control and entering a berserk mode in extreme situations.
