An expansion and attack unit compatible with the Robot Base GX <Royal Defender>. The state of each unit's installation varies depending on the unit in the deployment area.
The drone-type weapon GX Sword/RD unit is stored in the same underground hangar as the Royal Defender unit, and is launched by launching from a dedicated catapult gate.
The super-dreadnought GX Sword is a gigantic aerial drone-type weapon equipped with a combat AI, robust armor, and powerful firepower. Deployed on numerous unmanned combat support satellites in Earth orbit (up to 12 per satellite), it scrambles into action on autodrive upon receiving a request for operation from Diaclone units in various locations, providing various combat support depending on the battle situation.
