Brent Scott, better known by his codename Hit & Run, is the G.I. Joe team’s light infantryman who specializes in fast infiltration and equally fast extraction, often in rough terrain. His backstory is commonly portrayed as that of an orphan who learned to survive early and trained himself by climbing and running long distances, which fits his focus on infantry and mountaineering perfectly. Within the team, he is the go-to operative for missions where silence, speed, and endurance make the difference, especially when Cobra believes it is protected by natural barriers or high ground.
